Klonoa 2 is a direct extension of its predecessor, featuring the same gameplay systems with only minor additions. The lack of a consistent difficulty curve is its biggest failing, immediately transforming from an accessible platformer to a frustrating war of attrition. You’ll mostly breeze through the majority of the first installment – that is until the final world and last two major bosses, which feature drastic difficulty spikes.
Klonoa is the kind of game you want to play after an especially rough day. Another example might include leaving a timebomb enemy near a switch, placing yourself in the proper position before the switch is activated. You need the dexterity to double jump using the previous foe while making sure you nab the next one to continue the chain without falling to the ground. One example is reaching an especially high platform with three hovering enemies at different levels of elevation. These simple actions are often used in various combinations throughout the collection to complete light logic puzzles or test your platforming skills. Inhabited by a spirit, the ring can be used to grab enemies, and with a foe in your possession, you can either throw them at another or use them to initiate a double jump by stepping on them in mid-air. The moveset is dictated by the special ring Klonoa holds. Klonoa doesn’t even have access to a double jump under normal circumstances. Don’t dare to jump on top of enemies’ heads unless you want to take damage. Unlike many other platformers, there isn’t a traditional attack or even a stomp. Klonoa has made its name on the mileage of its simplistic premise.

This year they're releasing "The Cloud EP", featuring 3 tracks from the forthcoming album "Cloud Adventures" (oct.2009).
They released their first unofficial LP, “Iconoclast Sound Adventure” (2005).

They have also been invited to score movie soundtracks and skateboarding videos. The originality of their music has initiated worldwide collaborations with respected artists such as Shabazz the Disciple, Akon, Killarmy,Hell Razah (Sunz Of Man), Glasses Malone, Tariq.L, Genghis Khan, Non Genetic (USA), Mc Yoke (Japan), Ali (45 Scientific), La Fine Equipe (Paris), The Codefendants (Paris/Brooklyn) and so many more. All this combined with killer beats to shake the floor! They played alongside international artists such as Kid Koala, Wu Tang Killa Beez,Busdriver, The Scratch Perverts, Dj Cam, Dj Kentaro. Their live performances best illustrate the magic of combined imagination: rare and traditional vinyl cut up with sampling, scratching, analog instruments, live musicians & the MPC Real Time Drumming. Self-labelled “Tha Vietnamists” and lifelong friends, Pho & Thu (DJ iRaize), founded the group over eight years ago, based on a mutual need to push musical boundaries as well as their own technical limits.
